Advances in anesthesia and surgical techniques have promoted the rapid growth of surgical procedures that can be performed on an outpatient basis and have made surgery centers a safe, cost-effective and convenient alternative to hospital care.

The Surgery Center is located in the heart of the Chevy Chase business district, with easy access to the Friendship Heights Metro Station as well as other healthcare providers.

The Surgery Center offers patients an environment unparalleled in service, technology and support.  The Center maintains a full time staff of board-certified anesthesiologists and a nursing staff with extensive hospital OR and PACU experience.

Four fully equipped operating rooms are the focus of the 15,000 square foot facility featuring the most current advances in medical technology. The Surgery Center serves the specialties of general surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pain management, plastic surgery, podiatry and urology.

The Surgery Center of Chevy Chase is accredited through AAAHC, licensed by the state of Maryland, certified by Medicare and affiliated with most major HMO’s and PPO’s.
